Hettick is a small village located in Macoupin County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 184 people. Hettick is part of the Springfield, Illinois Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The village was incorporated in 1905 and named after the first postmaster, John Hettick. It was originally a coal-mining town, but today it is a primarily agricultural area. The Hettick area is known for its fertile farmland which is primarily used for corn and soybean crops.

Hettick is home to one elementary school, Hettick Grade School, which serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through 6th. High school students typically attend either Southwestern High School or Northwestern High School.

The village has a few small businesses including a convenience store, a restaurant, and a post office. There are also several churches in the area, including the Hettick Baptist Church and the Christian Fellowship Church. Hettick hosts an annual Fall Festival each September which features a parade, kids' games, a craft fair, and live music.
